Standard Nose Fur

A simple nose fur made of lambskin. The fur protects the nose from chafing from a halter and thus prevents bald spots or chafing.

Lambskin works as a pressure-distributing and heat- and moisture-regulating material. This makes lambskin often work better for very sensitive horses than synthetic furs.

You can easily attach the fur with Velcro to the noseband or anywhere else on the harness where protection is needed.

The fur is washable (hand or wool wash) with a special wool detergent that restores the lanolin (greasy) layer and leaves the moisture-regulating properties intact. With the 'Shires Easy Groom Velcro and merino fur brush' you can make the fur nice and fluffy again and the Velcro clean after washing. This way your fur will last even longer.
