Sole Cleanse - Red Horse (Disinfectant Hoof Spray)

Sole Cleanse is a highly effective hoof disinfectant and hoof cleaner formulated with Zinc Sulfate and Eucalyptus Oil.

Sole Cleanse helps to combat bacteria and fungi that cause unpleasant hoof odor, softening of tissue or thrush after just a few uses. In addition, Sole Cleanse also stimulates the natural regrowth of healthy tissue and removes the breeding ground for possible infections.

We recommend using Sole Cleanse to rinse the sole, white line, frog and cracks before packing with Artimud or Hoof-Stuff.

Sole Cleanse has no necrotizing (tissue dying) side effects like traditional treatments often do, such as Borax, chlorine, peroxide and (Stockholm) tar.

Compound

• Zinc Sulfate - A powerful conditioning ingredient known for its antifungal and antibacterial properties. Zinc Sulfate is not only highly effective against invasive bacteria and fungi, but also helps strengthen the horny wall and has no adverse effects on the sole.
• Eucalyptus Oil - Due to its antifungal and antibacterial properties, this essential oil helps eliminate odor and improve the condition of the sole.
• Natural surfactant - To distribute the ingredients well throughout the liquid.
• Completely water based.

Usage

• Sole Cleanse Spray can be used regularly.
• Use once a week for horses that are prone to developing an unpleasant hoof odor or thrush.
• In case of an active problem, Sole Cleanse spray can be used daily until the unpleasant odor is gone or the problems are resolved.
• Often a short treatment is sufficient, because Sole Cleanse is effective, gentle on the hoof and economical in use, Sole Cleanse can be used daily without any problems. Many horse owners do this preventatively to avoid problems.

Specific advice for use

• For severe hoof odor - Use twice daily on sole after cleaning with a hoof pick. As odor and firmness improve, use of Sole Cleanse may be reduced.
• For general hoof health – Use Sole Cleanse weekly after thoroughly cleaning with a hoof pick to keep the soles and frog in good condition.
• Treating Hollows and Cracks – Clean the hoof thoroughly with a hoof pick and spray Sole Cleanse into the hollows, cracks, etc. Then allow to dry and pack the hollow or crack with Artimud (for shallower holes) or Hoof-Stuff (for deep holes).

NB: Sole Cleanse may sting open wounds, so avoid contact with open wounds.
