Hoof Stuff is an antifungal (anti-fungal) and antibacterial paste to care for and protect hollows and cracks in hooves and to eliminate fungi and bacteria. Hoof-Stuff is used for cracks, hollows and grooves in the (sole of the) hoof, hoof ulcers, white line disease, abscesses and thrush.
Due to the fiber structure, Hoof-Stuff remains in place for a long time in deep cracks, grooves and cavities.
Hoof-Stuff is made from only natural ingredients. Hoof-Stuff is easy to use, safe and non-toxic. The active ingredients not only work to eliminate harmful fungi and bacteria but also promote natural healing of healthy tissue.
Unpasteurized honey is one of the basic ingredients of Hoof-Stuff and provides an increased antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic effect, in addition, this ingredient keeps Hoof-Stuff in place even better!
We recommend using Hoof-Stuff for deeper/narrower cavities. For shallow/superficial holes we recommend using Artimud.
Package contents: 290 gr
Compound
- Unpasteurized Honey – Provides antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic properties and also provides a good, sticky consistency, which means the product stays in place extra well.
- Zinc Oxide – Has an antibacterial nature and the ability to promote hoof renewal.
- Natural fibres – Ensure that the other ingredients remain well in the cavities, in addition the fibres provide a 'positive pressure' from the inside of the hoof and thus stimulate the natural regrowth of healthy tissue.
Red Horse Products does not add anything to this product to increase volume or make it cheaper to produce. Each ingredient is added solely for its own unique properties with the sole purpose of helping to actually solve the problem for which the product was developed.
Usage
Rinse the cavity with Sole Cleanse and remove as much dirt as possible. Open the jar of Hoof-Stuff, open the wax layer with a (clean) hoof scraper and take some Hoof-Stuff out of the jar. Then fill the cavity with Hoof-Stuff using a hoof scraper. Sometimes the cavity can be very sensitive or deep, in which case we advise not to press Hoof-Stuff too hard.
For grooves and depressions in the center of the radius it may be helpful to leave some Hoof-Stuff sticking out the back so it can be easily removed later.
Remove the Hoof-Stuff after 24 hours with a clean hoof pick. Then refill the cavity with Hoof-Stuff.
- Is the Hoof-Stuff you took out clean? Then you can leave the Hoof-Stuff in longer than the first 24 hours.
- Is the Hoof-Stuff you removed dirty? Replace the Hoof-Stuff more often, for example every 12 hours, until the Hoof-Stuff comes out clean.
How often the Hoof-Stuff needs to be renewed depends very much on environmental factors and the condition of the hoof.
