With this handy digital hay weigher, the number of kilos of roughage in a slow feeder can easily be weighed. Weighing hay is advisable for horses that tend to get fat quickly. With this hay weigher, you know for sure how much hay you are giving. Because this hay weigher has an illuminated screen, it can also be used in the dark. When the weighing is finished, the hay weigher beeps and then holds the weight for 15 seconds (hold function) so that it is easy to read. With the tare function, the starting weight can be reset to 0; for example, first hang an empty slow feeder on the hay weigher, set the weight back to 0 and fill the slow feeder with hay, so that the weight of the net is not included in the weighing.
