This Christ nose protector is specially designed for the loose AS das Pferd grazing mask without halter. This fur can easily be integrated into the mask when it is attached to a halter. The Velcro closures fit nicely around the mask. The fur is provided with a textile lining and gives a chic look. With this fur you no longer have to worry about chafing spots on your horse.
Although the fur is designed for the AS grazing muzzle, you can also use this fur with, for example, the ThinLine grazing muzzle or GreenGuard grazing muzzle, etc.
Lambskin from Christ has exceptionally good pressure distributing and heat and moisture regulating properties. Really a no.1 choice if your horse has very sensitive skin or if chafing occurs.
Place the protectors on the side of the grazing muzzle around the attachment of the halter. The extra strong snaps keep the fur in place
The coat is washable with a special detergent suitable for lambskins. This can be done by hand or in the washing machine on the wool/hand wash program. After drying, the coat can be made soft and fluffy again with a brush. By washing the coat with a lanolin-containing detergent or treating it with lanolin, you ensure that the coat becomes mildly water-repellent, so that it absorbs less moisture and becomes less heavy when it rains. Regular cleaning extends the life of the fur and increases the comfort of your horse.

Extra tips for chafing caused by the grazing muzzle.
- Has your horse developed a chafing spot? First check if the grazing muzzle is big enough. A fur also takes up a bit of space. Make sure there is enough space in the grazing muzzle to be able to place a fur.
- Also make sure the grazing muzzle is adjusted properly. A mesh muzzle hanging too low will cause extra friction because your horse will slide back to the ground with every bite. The better the adjustment, the less stress on the skin.
