Adjustable Throat Strap - HorseFair®

This extra throat strap is the solution if your horse regularly sheds its grazing muzzle.

Keeping a grazing muzzle on can sometimes be difficult. With this set you can easily attach an extra throat strap to your halter. This is more adjustable than the regular throat strap or is in a better place so that a functional adjustment can be achieved. This significantly reduces the chance of throwing off a grazing muzzle.

The throatlatch is attached higher to the halter than the normal throatlatch, so that it lies in the throat cavity. From this point, the throatlatch helps prevent the headpiece from easily sliding over the ears.

The extra throat strap can be used for grazing masks and regular halters. Usually the throat strap is not adjustable, it is often too loose or too low. With the addition of this throat strap that problem is solved.

Attach both D-rings to the halter according to the instructions with the included zip-ties. Then adjust the throatlatch to size. If necessary, cut off the end if it is too long (for smaller ponies) and melt the end with a flame to prevent fraying. The plastic clips and zip-ties make this throatlatch safe for your horse. If it gets stuck or there is too much pressure, the clip or zip-tie will break or come loose.

Attention! Use the throat strap with common sense and under supervision. Always check your horse's surroundings for dangerous situations or objects that your horse can get caught on.
