100% Biodegradable Shipping Bags
We have recently switched from cardboard boxes to shipping parts of our range. 100% biodegradable shipping bags . These bags take up significantly less space during transport (less transport space = more packaging in one vehicle = less emissions per package). We also no longer need any filling material or packing tape for shipping in a shipping bag. This new packaging method ensures volume reduction, more efficient packaging & shipping, resulting in a reduced environmental impact. These new shipping bags are 100% biodegradable and are for 50% made from recycled material . You don't have to worry about your products getting damaged in this new shipping packaging. We only ship products that are suitable for shipping in a bag with this new shipping method (for example our slowfeeders ). The biodegradation process of this mailing bag is only activated once the bags have been used and end up in the landfill where the natural process of light and heat starts the biodegradation process.
BIO filling chips
For vulnerable orders (for example, hoof care products from Red Horse) we do our utmost to ensure that they arrive undamaged. That is why we ship fragile items in a cardboard box filled with Environmentally friendly BIO filling chips , these filling chips provide effective protection against shocks during transportation. These filling chips are made of starch and is 100% biodegradable . These filling chips are water-soluble and due to their natural origin (starch) you can safely use these filling chips. throw away in the green GFT waste bin .
Reuse packaging and filling material from our suppliers
We reuse the packaging in which our new stock is delivered and the filling materials used as much as possible. It is therefore possible that you will receive your order in a reused box from another supplier. By reusing boxes, the processing of waste cardboard is greatly reduced. In addition to the BIO filling chips mentioned above, we also fill our boxes with other filling materials that we reuse from our suppliers, such as bubble wrap, filling paper and air cushions.
Limiting the number of shipping movements
We try to keep the number of returns and shipping movements to a minimum. Because many of our products have an extensive size range, it is not possible to completely prevent an exchange. We try to limit the number of shipping movements as much as possible by, among other things, giving personal size advice (where possible using photos) via telephone, email or whatsapp.
What else do we do:
- Consultations are combined by us and planned as optimally as possible, so that we reduce the kilometers to be driven as much as possible. In this way we can keep our CO2 emissions as low as possible. It may happen that you may have to wait a day longer for your delivery because we are not in your area sooner, but of course this is always done in consultation.

- Our website is hosted at TRUE . TRUE is a partner of The Green Web Foundation , a party that aims to make the internet completely green. That is to say, the energy used comes from sustainable sources.
- We have switched to DHL shipping due to the opening of a new innovative national DHL distribution center close to our warehouse (DHL transports partly with electrically powered vehicles in our region!)
- We only send our packing slips digitally by e-mail/
- We ship with ink-free labels.
- We ship orders as letterbox packages as much as possible, this prevents the delivery person from having to come back again if you are not at home.
- We have recently started producing some of our products locally at PaardEerlijk®, which reduces (international) transport.
- If we see that our suppliers are unnecessarily using plastic (outer) packaging in their deliveries, we will contact them to encourage them to reduce/avoid unnecessary plastic packaging.

- PaardEerlijk® does not participate in Black Friday.
- Unfortunately, we cannot reuse everything, so we separate the waste we have left over so that everything is processed in the greenest possible way.
