GG Equine Leather Insert Plate for GreenGuard Grazing Muzzle (Cob and Pony and older models)

Soft insert plate for the GreenGuard grazing muzzle made of natural leather. The insert plate is made of thick leather and is therefore softer for the teeth than the original bottom. The insert plate also protects the grazing muzzle, making it last longer.

This insert plate is very suitable for Greenquard grazing muzzle size Cob and Pony and the older grazing muzzles without recesses (also size full)

Instructions for use (also included with pictures)

1. Soak the leather plate in warm water for 15 minutes and then place the insert plate into the mask so that the recesses are aligned with the opening of the grazing mask.
2. Push the plate firmly into place
3. Secure the plate in the corners with the zip-ties and check regularly during use that the plate is still firmly secured. Make sure the lock does not form a sharp protrusion.

Important: Monitor and prevent dental damage

We recommend using the grazing muzzle only in combination with a rubber or leather insert plate to protect the teeth. Nevertheless, continue to check the teeth regularly and have the dentist come for an annual check-up. In addition to an insert plate, the adjustment also has a major influence on the teeth. Therefore, read the adjustment instructions carefully.

If your horse eats with a lot of pressure on the ground and teeth, it is advisable to have the dentist come more often for a check-up.
