Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor or therapist, twice daily for the first week:
Horse: 1 scoop
Pony: 3/4 scoop

After the first week, reduce the dosage to once daily:
Horse: 1 scoop
Pony: 3/4 scoop
1 scoop contains approximately 8 grams

Gluco balance can be given over the food. Moisten (with dry food) the food/powder so that it is not blown out of the food bowl.
If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, 1 time per day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum dosage of one day. Even then this product can be used effectively but the reaction may take a little longer.

If there is improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at first, this product can safely be given in double dosage. If there is improvement, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.

Some animals may experience a short-term worsening or otherwise react violently at the start of treatment. In case of severe increase: halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then slowly build up again.

Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue to administer this product for a few more days. In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.
