This strong Unique-horn Soaker hoof bag allows you to easily soak your horse's hoof and can be used for hoof ulcers, injuries, bruises, fungal infections, White Line disease and severe thrush. Fill the bag with a dash of Unique-horn Pure Hoof Soaker and water and place the hoof in the bag. Then you can use the string to close the bag around the leg. With the extra Velcro fasteners you can close the Unique-horn Hoof Soaking Bag even better. This way your horse stays with his hoof in the hoof bath, even if he takes a few steps during the soaking. Usage

• It works simply, place the hoof bag around your horse's hoof and fill the bag with water or medicinal solution and tighten the straps.
• TIP : Fold the hoof bag halfway over for easy donning.

• Do not soak the hoof for longer than 20 to 30 minutes at a time and keep track of this time. If you soak for too short a time, you will not achieve the desired result. Do not let your horse stand in the wet all day.
• When there is an inflammation in the hoof (in case of a hoof abscess or laminitis) cooling can be pleasant for your horse. The Unique-horn Hoof Soaking Bag can also be filled with cold water or ice packs. Cool for at least 10 minutes and keep track of this time with a timer (on your phone). Cooling for a shorter period is pointless.

Soak the hooves for various hoof problems or before trimming

Does your horse have a hoof abscess? We recommend soaking the hoof once or twice a day. A deep cleansing hoof bath once a week is also recommended for severe thrush. Soaking can also be advisable for White Line disease, fungal infections, injuries caused by nailing, for example, and sole bruises. Furthermore, it is pleasant to soak your horse's hooves before trimming in the summer: this makes it easier for your farrier or trimmer to work.
