The American company 'Best Friend® Equine supply Inc.' launched the first design of this grazing muzzle in the 90s. Since then, many brands have imitated this design, but unfortunately with a loss of quality and comfort. These grazing muzzles are very similar to several simple models that are available at many equestrian shops, but the difference in quality, fit and comfort is very big. The Best Friend® grazing muzzles are lightweight, have a good fit with soft padding that minimizes chafing. The openings in the side of the grazing muzzle are larger than most replicas, allowing for more ventilation.

The base plate is made of extra thick, odourless and reinforced rubber. Because rubber is used, the chance of tooth damage is minimised. Furthermore, the mask is made of high-quality materials, making it resistant to moisture. With a view to safety, the Best Friend ® Deluxe grazing mask has a replaceable safety clip that comes loose in panic situations, thus providing extra protection.
