Grass fan - Horse & Habitat

This grass fan contains 36 types of grasses that are common in pastures. Each type of grass is indicated with how to recognize it, what the flowering period and average height of the grass is and how suitable this type is in a horse pasture. Each type of grass is also indicated with what the most likely location is and in which type of pasture it likes to grow (for example nutrient-rich or moist pastures).

For each species, clear photos of both the plume or ear and the tongue are shown, so that you can recognize this species at any time of the year. The species are arranged by inflorescence.

With the information on this fan you can determine grasses in the pasture and assess how healthy the grasses in the pasture are for your horse. You can also determine which grass types you already have a lot of in the pasture and which are still desired in your pasture, you can then sow these in a targeted manner.
